The ceremony for Tsinghua Werkhart Scholarship 2006 opens today at the Architecture Museum of Tsinghua University. Werkhart’s Director Mr. Quinn Lu and German Architect Miss Franziska Rogge are present to deliver a speech. They also answer questions that are raised by students in the audience and are much to the architecture students’ concern. Mr. Lu offers valuable advice on different aspects when drawing upon his abundant professional experience in architecture design, while Miss Rogge shares information about German universities with those students who are interested in studying in Germany.
Werkhart Scholarship was founded in January 2006 with the aim of financing competent candidates in their further academic studies and researches. The scholarship also aspired to push forward China’s progress in architecture and urban design and opens up an opportunity for young promising learning spirits.
