German Esplanade Inaugurated

Initiated by the leaders of Germany and China, the German Esplanade was declared open in Nanjing, capital of JIangsu Province, China. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress Yuanchao Li, and Governor of Jiangsu Province Baohao Liang presented themselves at the opening ceremony. Werkhart International Asia-Pacific Region Manager Hans-Dieter Neumann and director Quinn Lu guested on the event. The German Esplanade will be touring around the country and pause at other most important cities including Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Chongqing before landing in Shanghai upon the Expo 2010, bearing the goodwill between Germany and China. Werkhart International was honoured by the German government to be engaged in the site planning and exhibition pavilion design for this Nanjing session. The solution has received extensive appreciation from different sides.
