Werkhart International Beijing Office vice GM Dr. Yunwei Zhao was invited to attend the 2007 Boao 21st Century Real Estate Forum Dalian Session and delivered a speech.
The forum represents the most important and professional real estate annual gathering in China. For the past seven years, it has served as the front where the real estate industry top talents debate over the most concerned topics and exchange viewpoints. This session, themed on Capital Talks, brought together the highest-profile figures from finance, academics as well as from the industry to reflect on the latest Chinese real estate policies in the new market landscape and explore possible approaches to development.
Dr. Zhao made a speech titled the Concentration of Capitals, by which he analyzed regional investment potentials based on urban development momentum. “The concentration of capitals will foster the differentiation of cities,” commented he, ”developers and consumers mostly give their favour to the largest cities. Although small-and-medium sized cities have witnessed continuous increase in competence, they still pale in comparison with their larger counterparts. The effect by over-concentration capitals in the largest cities will even widen the gap.” |
