Mr. Quinn Lu Guested on a CCTV Talk Show

Werkhart International director Mr. Quinn Lu guested, as a specialist in urban planning, on the CCTV talk show Da Jia Kan Fa (Great Viewpoint) to debate on financial policy, land supply, local identity during real estate market development and other topical issues. Mr. Lu pointed out that Beijing has consolidated its presentation as an international metropolis with considerable progress in economic growth and public service facility construction. However, as he observed, housing estate price is unlikely to decline greatly due to the scarce land resource in the city and the overwhelming demand for high-quality housing. Furthermore, as the city keeps sprawling via multiple railway lines and increase business opportunities, less favoured residential projects along the city peripherals would have a chance to be priced higher. Also present at the talk show were China Real Estate Association president Yunchang Gu, SOHO president Shiyi Pan, Sunlight 100 principal Xiaochong Fan, Time Media Executive Zhaoming Cai. The talk show was to be broadcasted soon afterwards in January 2008.
